Case 1: Polly Todd (metastatic breast cancer )
The patient had her left breast removed before consulting Dr. Binzel on 1/10/75. Three positive nodes were found. She was placed on the Binzel nutritional program at that time, and had remained on it ever since. She was 79 and in good health when the book was published in 1994.
Case 2: Sue Tarbutton (breast cancer)
On her first visit to Dr. Binzel on 10/26/83, the patient, at the age of 50 at that time, chose Binzel nutritional program instead of mastectomy. She had been on the program for about 10 years and had no recurrence when this book was published.
Case 3: Elizabeth Winschel (colon cancer)
The patient, at the age of 51, was found carcinoma of the colon with malignant cells in the abdominal fluid 4 months before she visited Dr. Binzel on 10/11/76. She had 4 chemo treatments but discontinued them because they made her so ill. She had Binzel nutritional program for about 17 years without recurrence when this book was published.
Case 4: Wasley Krogdahl (urinary bladder cancer)
This patient, at the age of 58, was diagnosed carcinoma of the urinary bladder in November, 1977. The tumor was removed. In 1979, three more tumors were removed. He first visited Dr. Binzel on 4/20/79 and started on Binzel nutritional program. In April of 1981 and in November of 1982, some small tumors were removed from his bladder. He was 75 and had no further recurrence when this book was published.
Case 5: Beverly Batson (stomach cancer)
The patient, at the age of 70, first visited Dr. Binzel on 9/19/88 after the removal of half of her stomach one month prior to the visit because of the carcinoma. She received no radiation or chemo. She had been on Binzel nutritional program for about 5 years without recurrence when this book was first published.
Case 6: Jean Henshall (bone cancer)
The patient, at the age of 48, first visited Dr. Binzel on 9/8/87, ten month after she was diagnosed malignant myeloma (a cancer which affects the bone). She had received some radiation in the pelvic area which relieved the pain. She started Binzel nutritional program after her first visit, and was still on the program for about 6 years and lived well when this book was first published.
Case 7: R.H. (metastatic ovary cancer)
The patient, at the age of 43, first visited Dr. Binzel on 10/26/79, two months after she was diagnosed carcinoma of the ovary with metastasis and was on chemo treatment. Later she decided to discontinue the chemo and chose Binzel nutritional program. She was on and off the nutritional program, and had the tumor coming and going with surgical treatment. She was living well with no cancer when the book was first published. Read the book for details.
Case 8: Joan Dewiel (colon cancer)
The patient, at the age of 45, first visited Dr. Binzel on 1/28/80. She was diagnosed 5 months prior to the visit carcinoma of the colon without metastasis, and had surgery but no chemo or radiation. She was placed on Binzel nutritional program since then and had no recurrence for about 14 years when this book was first published.
Case 9: Rex Perry (malignant lymphoma)
The patient, at the age of 42, first visited Dr. Binzel on 6/27/79. He was diagnosed malignant lymphoma in August of 1978 and had 8 months of chemo. His doctor wanted him to have several months more of chemo to be followed by radiation. He chose Binzel nutritional program, and was on the program for about 15 years without recurrence when this book was first published.
Case 10; Pauline Wilcox
The patient, at the age of 58, first visited Dr. Binzel on 6/14/85. She had her left breast removed because of carcinoma in 1983. She received no chemo or radiation. She was placed on Binzel nutritional program. From 1985 to 1994, there was time in 1988 when she didn't follow the diet in the program, the cancer recurred. But she was able to overcome the recurrence by returning to her diet and with addition of a series of intravenous laetrile injections. She remained in good health when this book was first published.
Case 11: Connie Stork (brain cancer)
The patient, at the age of 24, first visited Dr. Binzel on 2/26/75. She was found to have a malignant tumor of the brain in 1970. The tumor was partially removed followed by more than 25 radiation treatments until the radiation dosage limit was reached. She started the Binzel nutritional program after visiting Dr. Binzel, and had been free of cancer some 19 years later when this book was first published.
Case 12: Irene Dirks (cancer of uterus lining)
The patient, at the age of 59, first visited Dr. Binzel on 8/19/80. She was placed on a partial Binzel nutritional program, and was later found to have endometrial carcinoma in May of 1981. A hysterectomy was done and she was placed on the full Binzel nutritional program. She had no recurrence since then for some 14 years when this book was first published.
Case 13: Doris Dickson (lymphatic leukemia)
The patient, at the age of 59, first visited Dr. Binzel on 5/14/85. She had a node removed from the left side of her neck in 1979. A diagnosis of lymphatic leukemia was made, and she had one chemo treatment. Dr. Binzel found her white cell count to be 24,000 on her visit, and placed her under Binzel nutritional program but using laetrile tablets only without intravenous injection. Her white cell count continued to decrease, and by November of 1985, it was down to 9,700. In a recent letter to Dr. Binzel before this book was first published, Mrs. Dickson reported that she was doing well.
Case 14: T.P. (lung cancer)
The patient, at the age of 59, first visited Dr. Binzel on 7/18/80. He was diagnosed carcinoma in his right lung one month prior to the visit, and had 5 radiation treatments. He started the Binzel nutritional program after the visit. The X-ray showed complete disappearance of the lung tumor in January of 1981. He was doing very well in his contact with Dr. Binzel in April of 1993.
Case 15: Helyne Victor (breast cancer)
The patient, at the age of 54, first visited Dr. Binzel on 6/7/74. She had her right breast removed in 1967 and left breast removed in 1970 because of cancer. She didn't feel well although annual checkup didn't show spread of cancer, so she visited Dr. Binzel for nutritional help. She was placed on Binzel nutritional program after the visit. She felt 100% improvement on her health in just one year after the program. She continued to do well for the next 20 years when this book was first published.
Case 16: M.S. (malignant melanoma)
The patient, at the age of 62, first visited Dr. Binzel on 12/6/78. He had a malignant mole removed from her back one month prior to the visit. She had no chemo or radiation. She was placed on Binzel nutritional program after the visit, and was quite well and active at the age of 77 when this book was first published.
Case 17: B.D. (malignant lymphoma)
The patient, at the age of 62, first visited Dr. Binzel on 5/22/84. She had malignant lymphoma in January of 1980 and had 11 months of chemo. She was placed in Binzel nutritional program after the visit. In a letter to Dr. Binzel 10 years later, she said, "I am doing well and leading an active live… I continue to take all of the vitamins that you have prescribed and I never miss a dose."
Case 18: B.W. (metastatic colon cancer)
The patient, at the age of 44, first visited Dr. Binzel on 2/6/81. She was found to have carcinoma of the descending colon with 7 positive lymph nodes. She didn't have any of the conventional treatments since it was almost a hopeless case in orthodox medicine. She started Binzel nutritional program after the visit, and lead a normal and active life with no recurrence for the next 13 years when this book was first published.
Case 19: Alice Silverthorn (breast cancer)
The patient, at the age of 46, first visited Dr. Binzel on 1/5/76. Her left breast was removed and followed by radiation and chemo because of carcinoma in 1971. She was told that her cancer had spread and that she should have more chemo. She chose Binzel nutritional program, and was still doing very well after 18 years on the program when this book was first published.
Case 20: Grace Laman (cancer of the pancreas)
The patient, at the age of 59, first visited Dr. Binzel on 10/5/76. She was diagnosed carcinoma of the pancreas 6 months prior to the visit. She had 2 months of chemo but could not tolerate it and was told to have only 6 months to live. She started Binzel nutritional program after the visit, and was still doing quite well and active after 18 years when this book was first published.
The total Binzel nutritional program is outlined in the book. There are three parts in the program: (1) Vitamins and enzymes (2) Nitrilosides (3) Diet.
Vitamins and enzymes include multivitamins, high dose of vitamins A and C, proteolytic enzymes, and pangamic acid.
Nitrilosides include intravenous and oral amygdalin, and natural nitrilosides such as berries, apricot and peach kernels, grape seeds, etc.
Diet consists of fresh vegetables, fruits, grains, vegetable proteins during the intensive treatment, some animal proteins in the maintenance period.
The program is to be individualized.
