Three of the great pioneers who dared to challenge the orthodox medicine the cure of cancer through nutrition and
diet in the 20th century are Dr. Max Gerson and Dr. Ann Wigmore of USA and Dr. Johanna Budwig of Germany.
Seven decades ago when synthetic antibiotic drugs started to proliferate after world war 2, the American medical
authority insisted that there was not a single evidence that nutrition has anything to do with cancer. Today the
authority is still insisting that nutrition can't cure cancer although it has softened its stand to some nutritional elements
such as selenium may be beneficial to cancer prevention. The fact is that five decades ago Dr. Max Gerson had been
curing cancer with nutrition and diet in
North America, but the American medical authority not only didn't want to admit, it had tried very hard to discredit
Dr. Gerson. It also drove Gerson clinic out of North America to Tijuana of Mexico.
Dr. Ann Wigmore was the first to introduce wheatgrass juice together with living sprouts, organic produce and raw
diet to cure cancer five decades ago. May be she was not a medical doctor and didn't pose a threat to medical
authority she was not much harassed by the Amerian medical authority and FDA. Today many health clinics use
her principles to promote health and quietly to cure cancer.
Dr. Johanna Budwig was a biochemist in Germany. She found out that hydrogenated oil was a culprit to many
modern metabolic diseases and that a combination of flaxseed oil and cottage cheese can cure cancer. She had
been dominated 7 times a Nobel Prize candidate, unfortunately she was very much opposed by the hydrogenated
oil industry and was not elected. But her legacy of curing cancer with flaxseed-based protein diet continues.
Dr. Gerson, Dr. Budwig and Dr. Wigmore had cured cancer and many other chronic diseases in the past 70 years
using natural foods and diet. Dr. Max Gerson cured a Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Dr. Albert Schweitzer, of diabetes
and his wife of tuberculosis without antibiotics. Dr. Schweitzer wrote in the eulogy after the death of Dr. Gerson
"I see in Dr. Max Gerson one of the most eminent geniuses in the history of medicine." Dr. Johanna Budwig was
the leading biochemist in Europe in the field of lipid metabolism, she was adamantly against the human consumption
of hydrogenated oils which created a very powerful enemy from the manufacturers of butter substitutes such as
margarine in her nominations to Nobel Prize. Dr. Ann Wigmore was an educator, holistic health practitioner,
nutritionist, whole food advocate, and Doctor of Divinity. She was the American icon of wheatgrass cancer cure,
presently there are at least 7 health centers around the world using her method to promote health and silently curing
cancer. With these three great pioneers and their simple protocols of taking wheatgrass juice, carrot juice, apple juice,
and other vegetable and fruit juices, flaxseed oil and cottage cheese to cure cancer, plus many cancer testimonials
cured by their methods, cancer patients now have a very powerful option to treat and cure their cancer with nutrition
and diet. Information on the methods and protocols to treat cancer of these three pioneers can be found on the
internet, simply enter the name "Max Gerson", or "Ann Wigmore", or "Johanna Budwig" into Google or Bing search
engine and you will see many references.
I have summarized the protocol of
Gerson Therapy on my website for quick reference. I am also going to post some easy and practical methods
of growing wheatgrass, sprouts, and micro-greens of vegetables using hydroponics without soil for city people who
don't have space for growing vegetables in soil. I believe although plants should be grown in organic soil they may
be grown hydroponically without soil for the treatment of disease because these nutritious grass, sprouts, and young
vegetables have all the necessary nutrients from the seeds in the early growing stage, they don't need the nutrients
from the soil because they are harvested for consumption before growing to full plant. Aside from readily availability
and freshness, another advantage of growing hydroponically is the absence of harmful effects of pesticides and
other toxic chemical used in commercial agriculture.
